Using PCC, trying to Enable Security, I receive an error "Only one user may be connected when turning database security on or off (Btrieve Error 8099)".
We have users currently using Btrieve API based applications, but no one using the DDF tables. I enabled security on another database a few days ago while users were using Btrieve API based applications and had no problems. Why can't I enable on my second database?
I'm connected directly to the server.
I'm running PSQL 12.5.
Any suggestions besides shutting down the server and restarting and trying with no users logged on?
Check PSQL monitor to see if any connections are open to that database, if so, log out all connections before setting up security.
After failing about 10 times, I opened & closed the database in DDF Builder, opened & closed the database in PCC, and then tried it again, and it worked.
It’s working, so I’m happy.
